Pears

Easy to grow and yielding lots of fruit for eating and cooking. They enjoy a sunny sheltered aspect in good fertile soil. Harvest before they are fully ripe from late summer to autumn.

We grow all our pears on Quince A rootstock which will give a tree a height of around 3-4m depending on variety.

Or control the size and shape by growing as an espalier or cordon on a fence or wall.

All our pear trees are 2 years old or more and have the potential to start cropping the year after planting. We do not offer 1 year old maiden trees.
